At Care.com we really believed in custom crafting our own iconography to maintain consistency and design integrity in our interfaces and marketing materials when we need to illustrate various concepts. I designed and maintain our icon set, which is used across all platforms and touchpoints, and help the team create new icons within the design guidelines so that both concepts and execution maintain a level of simplicity and excellence.
