As the Product Design Leader for iOS and Android native apps at Care.com from 2017-2019, I spearheaded a transformative period for the app squad. Through the complete integration of the Care Design System, a framework I played a key role in developing, we not only elevated the overall app user experience but also enhanced core features and introduced new functionalities. The impact was profound, reflected in a remarkable surge in app store ratings from an average of 2.5 to an outstanding 4.7.
Our achievements were further acknowledged in 2018 when the Care.com app was featured as the App of the Day on the iTunes app store, solidifying our commitment to excellence and user satisfaction.
